This page explains your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and how to exercise it. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Your rights
Under California’s CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws in other US states with comprehensive privacy regimes, you have the right to:
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information
- Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Opt out of targeted advertising
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion or correction of your personal information
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (where applicable)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights
2. What we do with your data
ToursZoom does not sell your personal information for money.
We share booking information (name, contact details, requirements) with the tour Operator you booked, so they can deliver your Experience. This is necessary to provide our service and is not a “sale” under US privacy law. Operators are contractually restricted from using your data for any other purpose.
We use third-party analytics and advertising services — Google Analytics and Meta Pixel — that collect activity data through cookies. Under several US state privacy laws, this kind of data exchange may qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out as described below.
3. How to opt out
Cookie consent banner. Fastest option — click Cookie Settings in our footer and decline “Marketing” cookies. This stops the sharing of your data with advertising platforms.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out request in states that recognize the signal. You do not need to take any additional action if your browser sends GPC.
Email. Send a request to admin@tourszoom.com with subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” and include your name, the email on your ToursZoom account, your state of residence, and a clear opt-out statement.
Contact form. Use the contact form and select “Privacy Request” as the subject.
4. What happens next
After we process your opt-out request:
- We stop sharing your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
- Marketing cookies are no longer set on your device.
- You may still see general ads for ToursZoom but they will not be targeted based on your Platform activity.
- Your account and bookings are unaffected.
Processing time. Opt-out requests are processed within 15 business days. Access, deletion, and correction requests are processed within 45 calendar days (extendable by 45 days with notice). We confirm receipt within 10 business days.
5. Verification
We verify your identity before processing access, deletion, or correction requests, typically by confirming the email address on file. Authorized agents must provide signed written authorization or a notarized power of attorney.
6. Non-discrimination
We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a lesser experience because you exercised a privacy right.
7. Children’s privacy
ToursZoom is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact admin@tourszoom.com.
